In 2009 an Army veteran came to our office seeking assistance for an increase rating in his lumbar spine condition. He served in Thailand with an Engineer Battalion building the Bangkok Bypass during the Vietnam War. He fell from a crane and fractured vertebrae in his low back and spent several weeks in a hospital in Thailand. Agent Orange and the Fairchild C-123 Provider
The VA’s Office of Public Health recently released their findings in Agent Orange Residue on Post-Vietnam War Airplanes an investigation in connection with the possible exposure to herbicides in post-Vietnam War veteran’s who were crew members of the Fairchild C-123 Provider, which were used to spray herbicides in Vietnam.
