We would like to share exciting news about a change to our office. Lessons learned during the pandemic are that we can serve both our Illinois and Missouri clients in Quincy and through remote means. We have taken the plunge and consolidated our Hannibal and Quincy offices to one location in Quincy. We have expanded our Quincy office footprint while still representing clients in Hannibal and other Missouri communities. Currently, most bankruptcy hearings are being held telephonically and this will continue until 60 days after the national emergency is declared over. We look forward to in-person creditors’ meetings in Hannibal and Quincy in the future.
Phone and video conference consultations have been very popular and useful, although we look forward to the day when in-person consultations become normal again. Nothing else about our representation is changing. We will continue to represent debtors in bankruptcy throughout the 15 counties in northeast Missouri that are included in the Northern Division of the Eastern District of Missouri Bankruptcy Court. We continue to represent veterans nationwide. We are making this change to help us better serve our clients.
